From design to realization
In the case of assembly machines, we generally refer to cells or lines.
The assembly cell features a rotating table at its center, equipped with dedicated fixtures. The rotating ring ensures high performance in terms of precision and speed, and optimal distribution of workstations. Component feeding can be done via automated robots or assigned personnel, controlled in their distinctive characteristics (internal diameters, external diameters, lengths, color). The operations that can be performed are numerous:
- Assembly of two or more pieces
- Labeling
- Inspection
- Marking of OK products
- Discharge of NOK pieces
In assembly lines, component advancement occurs via a conveyor belt typically in a linear flow that can include:
- Handlers for product feeding at the entrance and/or exit
- Motorized pallet conveyor belts with automatic return
- Component insertion presses equipped with an operator panel, work recipes from a centralized automatic system, force/displacement graph control, and OK/NOK management
- Product flipping stations with controlled axes, adaptable to different models, integrated with presses or independent
- Assembly and inspection stations, manual or automatic, equipped with an operator interface, work recipes from a centralized automatic system, operator feedback for enabling transfer to subsequent stations, the ability to manage traceability of assembled components, and to display specific assembly instructions for the product.
- Label printers
