Assembly and testing line for appliance components

The Assembly and Testing Line for Appliance Components integrates assembly and inspection solutions in a single automated station dedicated to an appliance subassembly.

The operations performed at the station are as follows:

• Manual loading/unloading of the product
• Checking the flatness of the capsule closure surface with the aid of a laser sensor.
• Loading the product: the anthropomorphic robot transfers the “good” piece to its proper location.
• Inserting the magnet.
• Verifying the magnet.
• Resining the magnet.
• Checking the presence of adhesive with a 2D vision system.
• Unloading the product.

Included in the system:

• Reader for batch identification and traceability.
• Label printer.
• Touch screen PC for process configuration and control.
• Separation of good/reject pieces, separation of reject pieces based on defect type.
